RUNNING MODE:
Your taillight and turn signals are all illuminated RED.
TURN SIGNAL ACTIVATED:
A flashing amber arrow appears on the appropriate side of the taillight and the selected turn signal flashes amber.
BRAKE ACTIVATED:
Three-pulse "flashes" and then your taillight and turn signals remain brightly lit RED until the brake is released. Amber arrow and turn signal will continue to flash during braking function.
TECH TIP:
Küryakyn Panacea lighting or Run-Turn-Brake Controllers are not compatible with H-D® accessory or other aftermarket modules. Remove all such modules before installing Panacea lighting or Run-Turn-Brake modules. Load equalizers generate heat when in use so avoid using the turn signals for an extended period of time. Never operate 4-way flashers unless you first remove the load equalizers.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT PANACEA TAILLIGHTS:
1. All wiring for trailer lights must be spliced into the wiring harness ahead of the Panacea control module.
2. If the rear of the motorcycle is equipped with any incandescent lights that were not original equipment, such lights must be spliced into the wiring harness ahead of the Panacea control module. Police models are often equipped with additional lights not found on their civilian counterparts. Be aware that these lights must be rewired, removed, or converted to L.E.D. prior to installing a Panacea system.
3. Installation of Panacea Taillights and Turn Signal inserts may be in violation of FMVSS #108.
4. Panacea Taillights can be used on '97-'01 Dyna, '96-'01 Fat Boy and FXST (ex. Deuce) and '99-'01 XL models, but they must be used with stock turn signals. Panacea turn signals are not available for these applications.
DO I HAVE TO USE PANACEA REAR TURN SIGNAL INSERTS?
L.E.D. Silver Bullets, stock turn signals, or other custom single filament lights can be used with the Panacea Taillight System but they will function as turn signals only. The Panacea Taillight will retain all of its functions (run, pulse brake, and amber directional arrow). To Realize the Full Benefit of Two-Color, Multi-Function Turn Signals Made Possible by the Panacea System, You Must Use Panacea Rear Turn Signal Inserts.
HOW TO ORDER:
1. Select a Panacea Taillight for your specific application.
2. Select the Wiring Components. Adapters are required where listed. Alarm Compatible Load Equalizer is only required if equipped with factory alarm.
3. Select Panacea Rear Turn Signal Inserts for your application.
4. (Optional) Select L.E.D. Front Turn Signal Conversions for your specific application.
